TPHS are retained by Dover Harbour Board to advise on the access strategy for the DWDR project for all phases of the development.

The work is ongoing and involves the production of access options to serve the whole Masterplan area, broken down into phases. TPHS were commissioned to advise on the horizontal and vertical alignment of a suitable access road, including tie-ins with existing infrastructure and the design in outline of new junctions to serve both the development plots and where the new access road joins the Esplanade. In addition to the access options, TPHS have also provided an outline drainage strategy and have advised on the vertical alignment of the new access road.

TPHS have also been retained to advise on the impact of future phases of the development in terms of access provision, parking strategy and infrastructure for the future years and have produced a trip generation assessment for the future phases with which to future proof the current infrastructure design.

dock_exit_route02TPHS are working closely with the DWDR team to deliver solutions which are compatible with the aims of the development and also to future proof the scheme.
